Congressional Hearings and Requests
Congress often exercises oversight over federal agencies or examines pending legislation by holding hearings. EEOC's oversight committees hold hearings on the agency's funding and activities. The EEOC is frequently invited to testify before its oversight committees to discuss issues or legislation impacting the agency and its mission.
