After saving a PDF (from attachment, scan, download) I am unable to save the file after modifying the PDF (ie removing pages, OCR, etc. I get a box that says: “The document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folders.” After clicking yes (to saving different name/folder) the filename is regenerated to *random letters/numbers.tmp* and then the file becomes corrupted and unable to be opened.
I just purchased this laptop (HP Spectre X360) and installed Acrobat.

Could be user permissions problem of either the user, Acrobat or the folder the file is in. For the folder, try some other location. For Acrobat, check the acrobat.exe permissions in the properties dialog.

We are sorry to hear that.
Please try to turn off the protected mode for testing (Win Only) and see if that works. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable Protected mode at startup' Turn off the protected mode and uncheck Enhanced Security > Click OK and reboot the computer and see if that works.
Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risk.
